Striking addition to our great room! [...] Set up was a breeze. I added a three way light control touch pad for $10 from the local home center for just the right amount of illumination day or evening.We are so pleased with the purchase. The Replogle line of globes use high quality parts and materials. Also, I simply could not find better Replogle pricing on the web than at Ultimate Globes.

I purchased this globe for my grandmother as
a Christmas gift. She started to cry after she
opened it and saw what it was. She loves it.
As an avid sailor in her younger years that went to many spots on the globe, she now "travels" to them

The bolts and bolt holes in the legs do not easily align and it is easy to cross-thread them.

This is a great gift, that everyone at the holidays enjoyed! It is assembled very easily and ready to use in 5-10 minutes. I purchased the illuminated one which really makes a difference, in that it can be used as special lighting
in your home. The only thing I would change is the tabs that are screwed down to hold the globe in place, should be a better match to the frame.
