I bought this for my soon to be history teacher daughter for first class room. I wanted to get something tasteful and modern but still accurate and functional. She was thrilled with how nice it was and when plugged in it looks great.

Now I want one for my office too!

I really like the uniqueness of the globe. I only wish the black was darker as it appears on the website. The black has more of a dark gray look even when turned off.
