My husband had been wanting a globe for some time, so I decided to get him one for Christmas. I quickly figured out that for him, a full swing globe would definitely be worthwhile, and I thought the raised relief would provide a bit of "instant information" about the area he was looking at. I also wanted the individual US states to be clearly delineated. For myself, I wanted the globe to look good in our family room, and I didn't want it to "break the bank." The Charleston globe fulfilled my requirements perfectly: Full swing, raised relief, US states detailed, beautiful colors, gorgeous base, and within my budget. The base of the globe was unbelievably easy to assemble - and no tools required! It's beautiful in our family room, and my husband was absolutely thrilled to receive it. This is truly a fine, high-quality globe, and Ultimate Globes is a great company to do business with. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
