Overall this is a beautiful globe that I have placed in a den that needed an "extra someting". It was very easy to assemble, and I was thrilled to have something new that was made in the USA. My two young sons (ages 9 & 3) enjoy using it and asking questions. The lines of longitude do not align. Perhaps I am showing my ignorance and that is the way it is supposed to be? A great purchase.

I gave this globe as a gift to someone who had been wanting one. She was very happy with it. I did not look at it much since it was a gift so I don't have much personal experience with the globe.

I bought this for my mother. She was so impressed with the globe. Being on a stand, she can sit on her living room chair and spend her time using your product. I was also impressed with the quality and design of the globe. I am glad that I ordered it for her Christmas gift.

We purchased the globe as a learning resource, to show the relationship of locations we discuss. We wanted a 3-dimensional tool as our primary geographic reference which we supplement with 2-D maps and Google Earth.
We use this in the floor globe configuration, beside a bookcase. The boys (7 & 8) love to spin the globe as they pass. It stays steady and balanced.
We have maple floors and oak furniture in our home, so this model blends well. The wooden post has colors ranging from darker brown in the grooves to light brown on the rounded edges. The color of the metal parts (the meridian and the base) works well with the colors in the post.

I bought the Treasury Globe by Replogle as a graduation gift for my fiance - who was graduating college with her Master's degree in Elementary Education. I already knew that she loved globes, and I knew she wanted a globe to put in her classroom once she started teaching. She loved the Treasury globe, and she complimented me for buying such a great gift for the occasion.
