My coworkers & I gave this product to our gadget-loving boss as a gift. It is a quality product with a striking appearance that (despite it's compact size) has a hypnotic effect even from the hallway outside his office! At first it was extremely difficult to balance but gets somewhat easier with practice. The only drawback is that it's unique design makes it sensitive to disturbances such as bumping into the desk with a chair, vacuum, etc. thus requiring a few minutes for re-balancing. Overall, DEFINITELY worth the $$ - I would buy it again for sure!

With the latest release the new Levitron ION now includes rotation. Many customers requested that this feature be added to the prior version (AG) and now it is standard on the ION. If you liked the AG you will love the ION with this additional feature!
The ION makes an ideal conversation piece, garnering many slack-jawed stares from friends and coworkers. Full of style, its smooth, shiny base gives the Ion a sleek appearance while keeping the rotating globe suspended in mid-air.

This product is an eye catcher and conversation starter. It's great as a award. The only draw back I can see is that it doesn't rotate on it's own power-THAT WOULD MAKE IT PERFECT!!
