Quality product that serves its purpose very well. I like the dark color oceans vs. the common blue water globes on the market. The internal illumination helps in locating specific locations on the globe. It even makes a great nightlite for a room. Nice program to keep the globe updated at a 50% discount. Very satisfied.
The company service could be better. The website indicated the globe was in stock but it actually wasn't. When I checked their website about my order it indicated the globe had shipped but it did not. They charged my credit card prior to shipment. I made 3 phone calls but never got to speak to a live body...always "leave a message". They did however respond via email within one day.

I've had desk globes before, however I've never had a black sea background as opposed to the standard blue. The contrast of the world against the black makes the globe standout and also makes it much easier to find geographic locations ... a real eye catcher. I love the construction, the easy way it spins and absolutely love the light. What I wish it had was a piece of felt under the stand to prevent your desk from being scratched. This is something that needs to be put on if you do not wish scratches.
